Everything Works Out in the End

First off. Tomorrow is MY baptismal anniversary. cool, 13 years ago. I had another great week. Man. So good.

We went by the grandma of an elder from our mission. He told us to visit her since she lives in the same town as us. We went by and said hello from her grandson and she told us to come in! She is not a member but she welcomed us and showed us loads of pictures from when this elder was little haha. Before we left she said. When can you come again!?

We are meeting with a guy named J. He's awesome and our appointments with him have been so. good. We met with him on Monday and talked a lot about the Book of Mormon to help him understand why we need it. We committed him to read Alma 32 about the seed of faith. We met again on Wednesday and he had read it and said that he really liked it. He pointed out verse 27 where it says "exercise a particle of faith, yea. even if ye can no more than desire to believe" he read that verse out loud and said, "I have that desire." We started teaching the plan of salvation and only got about half way through. but when we were talking about our purpose on this earth we said that God wants us to be happy while we are here. We had a really good talk about how we can be happy and at peace amongst the stresses of life. Hes so prepared.. Hes been meeting on and off with missionaries for about 3 years and I think he is really ready this time.

This week i got to tausch in Wels with Sister Herycz. Shes a brand new golden from England! it was so fun tausching with her. She's super cool and she is already a great missionary! I love talking to new goldens. i just want to help them know that we have all been where they are and the best way to adjust is to just dive right into the work the best that you can. Also the Wels sister have bikes.. I am officially a sister missionary because I finally rode a bike for proselyting purposes... haha. We taught an 8 year old girl who was preparing for her baptism the next day. We had her draw and picture and list things she can do to live with Heavenly Father one day. One thing she listed was to love others.. She wrote it down and then paused and said,"ya i need to work on that one and also loving myself.. I mean.. my name is Olivia...... I dont even like olives!!" Hah I was in tears it was so funny. but seriously lets take the advice from this 8 year old and learn to love others and ourselves a little bit more. faults and all. we had two super great member Appointments this week. with the Familie Dengg and Familie Gruenauer. They were so much fun! The members here are the best! We were asked to do a missionary activity with the young primary kids on Sunday so we had them be missionaries for 20 minutes and we did missionary things. We did sport, studied, ( they learned the phrase " wir sind Missionarin die Kirche Jesu Chris der heiligen der letzten Tage" and then we went dooring! (Just in the church building) it was so cute they would knock on the door and as soon as someone answered they would start telling them About the Book of Mormon! It was so cute watching them carrying a bible around that was about the size of their torsos.

Saturday we had another experience similar to last week of being where we needed to be. This has been happening a lot lately. We left our apartment and took a train to Salzburg for our appointment. This was our first time heading to this lady's house without the car so we had to figure out the bus. We looked up the bus and jumped on the one it told us to.. but after about 20 minutes,I was like "ok we should be there by now.." the next thing we know there is a sign that says we are leaving salzburg... so i look at the bus plan again. Turns out we should have switched buses after about 10 minutes... we tried to get off at the next stop, the bus pulled over at the stop and the door that we were at literally would not open. even though we were pressing the button.. so we just said ok whatever so we stayed on for one more stop which took us to the airport. We called the lady that we had an appointment with to tell her we were going to be lost and she cancelled on us anyways, dang it. So we took a potty break there because free bathrooms. then we sat down at the bus stop to wait for a bus back to Salzburg. A lady walked up and asked us for help finding her way to the main train station. We told her which bus to take, which was our same bus, and then chatted for a bit. She was on vacation from Portugal. we ended up getting off at the same stop and she still needed help so we got her to the right platform to her train and tried to explain where she needed to get out offthe train. Then Sister Hancock and I looked at each other and both said we need to go with her. so we got on the train with her. She was so so grateful! We told her all about what we do as missionaries and she thought it was so cool! She said,"I have seen men with those name tags before in Portugal! Next time I see them I am going to call them over!" We finally got her to her bus that she was taking to Munich and we took a selfie with her, gave her a card and she gave us her card and said if we are ever in Portugal she would love to have us come and stay with her! Everything works out in the end. It always does. Sometimes we wonder why things aren't oing the way they should. but in reality they are going the way they should. They just aren't going the way WE think they should. Have a good week! love you! Sister Price
