Hey, I dont have tons of time today.

Also.. I forgot my camera today... (don't kill me mom) I'll send double next week. This week was good, but it definitely was a lot slower compared to last week. Last Monday we went bowling with the Elders which was so fun! It was a little piece of America here in Germany. Today we went on a 20 kilometer hike through the forest!! It was so fun. I have missed hiking so much and I'm glad we could go before the weather starts to turn. The thing about Germany is there is a path that you can walk or bike that gets from one town to the next. It' s really cool. We stopped along the way at a cute little German restaurant and ate Snitzel.

I'll be honest, mission work was hard this week. We can't get a hold of our new member which breaks my heart...and a lot of people cancelled on us this week. I feel like the area got away from us this week because we had to go to Munich for mission leadership council. Just leaving our area for a day and a half you see a major diffrence. I did get to see Sister Ahlm at MLC so that was cool. I met her golden that she is training right now and I was able to talk to her and give her advice. I LIVED for talking to older missionaries and getting their advice because being a golden is hard. I hope I was able to help her as much as those other sisters helped me.

We have been trying to speak more German as a companionship which means I am pretty frustrated when we get home at night from trying to speak it all day, but I just keep imagining the day I will be fluent and it helps me to keep working, although that day is hard to imagine in the moment.

Hey, the weather is beautiful and I ate snitzel today and walked through the forest in Germany, so that's good. Sometimes you just have to step back and enjoy the little things. Dang it, I'm out of time today...... Well this is probably my worst email yet.

Also this week is transfer calls. There's a good chance that I could be transferred, so we will see. I hope not though. I want to have one more transfer here!

I love you! Liebe,

Sister Price

Message from Sister Price's Mom:

If you have been following Miranda's blog, you know how happy she has been throughout her mission. This week it sounds like she has faced much rejection which can really be discouraging. A mission is tough and is not always fun. Missionaries learn so much about service, compassion, rejection and unconditional love. Missionaries build immense character as they are forced to look outside themselves and their own needs in order to help others whom they come to love and care for.

For those of you who are not familiar with what a mission entails, watch this Nightline segment about LDS missionaries which was broadcast in 2012 during Mitt Romney's run for President. And if you don't mind, say a little prayer for Sister Price which I know will help her have a better week. :)
