This week was soooo good!

On Monday we had kind of a crazy p-day. We went with our district to Hohenzollern (a castle).. BUT we missed our train.... so we had to take the next one which made us miss our bus.. The bus that takes you to the castle.. that only runs every 3 hours..... so we walked..

It started out as a joke that we would just walk to the castle and the next thing we knew we were on the side of a mountain hiking up to the castle! It was soooo far. I still can't believe we did that! It was so windy up there that you basically can't see my face in any of the pictures, because hair...... but it was really fun.

Me, Sister Wilkes and Elder Maw quoted Nacho Libre the whole way up! Then we missed our bus on the way back so we walked back to the train station... it was a crazy day.

We had interviews this week with President. I love President Kohler! He is a really good mission president and he gives great advice!
We had the coolest expriences this week with new investigators. One of our new members has been bearing testimony to her friend about the gospel and her friend finally said she would meet with us, so we had an appointment with her. She is so cute! We also met with Z. We met him on the street and met with him yesterday. He is from China and so we had to start from the very basics with him, it was cool because we taught him how to pray for the first time ever. His appointment was right after church and our ward mission leader had cooked lunch for the msisionaries and a couple other people, so we invited him while he waited for his bus. He doesn't speak German so he couldnt understand any of the conversations during lunch, but when we left he said "its like a big family." He couldn't even understand the conversation. A lot of people notice that when they come to our church that it is like a big family, and that's how it should be!
On Saturday we went finding in a place called Metzingen. We met a man from Portugal. At the start of our conversation he said that church was not his thing and basically that his life sucks. It breaks my heart when people say that. I can't even imagine. We told him about The Book of Mormon and how it has helped us in our lives. He didn't have his German phone with him and he didn't have his number memorized so we gave him our card and told him to call us. We hoped that he would, but to be honest they usually don't so part of me thought that was it, but he texted that day!! He said he would try to read that book because he needed to change something in his life!!!!!! Sister Wilkes and I had a dance party in the train station when we got that text! It was the best!! We met with him yesterday and he brought his friend. They were both so interested and really want to change their lives. That is what the Gospel is all about, change and becoming better. I love Ether 12:27:
And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.
We can change our lives and overcome our weaknesses through Christ. It brings a new hope and a new outlook on life. It' s incredible!
Also, I'm in a drit now! Sister Friebe arrived on Saturday evening. She is from somewhere around Frankfurt and she is so adorable. She's the tiniest thing!

ok i love you!
Love, Sister Price
